ENGLISH ACTIVITIES

Novembre 19th. 1st and 2nd year students went to a projection at the cinema. Some of them ejoyed it and others thought that it was a little bit childish for them

3rd year students went to the capitol to see the play 'Reset'. here  is the argument and  some comments.

Marie has just returned from Italy after a long period studying there. She returns home full of conflicting emotions, because she will have to adapt back to the same lifestyle she had before: her family, her home … her friends. What Marie does not expect is that when she sees Mark, her best friend, something in him has changed. In the period in which she has been away, Mark had an accident and has partially lost his memory.
Of all the memories there were between them, only those in Marie´s mind have been preserved, as well as text messages and whatsapp´s saved on her mobile … plus their Facebook and Skype conversations. Marie and Mark will have to retrace their steps in order to rediscover their relationship which led them to become such great friends in the first place. All this, with a twist of humour, and as frenzied as the age in which we live; the age of the internet.

Marie Italiatik itzuli berria da, ikasten urte batzuk egin ondoren. Berriro etxean izateak emozio kontraesankorrak eragiten dizkio, atzera ere lehengora egokitu beharko baitu: familia, etxea, lagunak… Gutxien espero duena da Mark, bere lagunik onena, aldatu samar ikustea. Izan ere, Marie kanpoan ibili den bitartean, Markek istripu bat izan du, eta oroimena galdu du partzialki. Bien arteko oroipenetatik Mariek gordetzen dituenak baino ez dira geratzen, eta Markek bere mugikorrean gorderik dituen sms-ak eta whatsapp-ak, eta Facebook-eko eta Skype-ko beren elkarrizketak. Mariek eta Markek berriro hasi beharko dute elkar ezagutzen, hain lagun onak izatera eraman zituen harremana berreskuratzeko. Umorea izango da nagusi istorio honetan, eta Internet aroak agintzen duen erritmo frenetikoa.

Marie acaba de tornar d’Itàlia després d’un llarg període d’estudis. Arribar a casa l’ompli d’emocions contradictòries, ja que ha d’adaptar-se novament al mateix ritme de vida que portava: la seua família, sa casa, els seus amics, els records d’infància,… El que Marie no espera és trobar Mark, el seu millor amic, tan canviat. En el període en què ella ha estat fora, Mark va tindre un accident i ha perdut parcialment la memòria. De tots els records que compartien els dos, només queden els que Marie conserva en el cap, els sms i whatsapp que ell continua tenint en el seu mòbil, i les converses per Facebook i Skype. Marie i Mark hauran de redescobrir-se per a tornar a iniciar la relació que els va fer ser grans amics. Tot això, en clau d’humor, i en un ritme tan frenètic com el que hui en dia imposa l’era d’Internet.
